A clear explanation of the cooling fault

We assess the vehicle and symptoms to help trace coolant loss or temperature problems. Tell us when it happens, what you have noticed and whether any cooling components were recently replaced.

Hoses, radiators and cooling components

Depending on the fault and vehicle access, we can quote work involving hoses, radiators, cooling fans and other cooling system components. Parts, fluids and the work possible at your location are confirmed before scheduling.

If the engine is overheating

Stop as soon as it is safe and seek advice. Do not remove a hot cooling system cap. Tell us whether the vehicle can be assessed without running or moving it. Repairs are quoted for your vehicle; the $5 fuel levy includes GST and any extra travel is confirmed before booking.

Cooling System Repairs questions

Can you fix a coolant leak at my home?

We can assess the concern and carry out selected repairs where the vehicle, parts and work area are suitable. We confirm the repair scope before scheduling.

Can you quote from a photo?

A photo can help explain the concern, but testing or inspection may be needed before a firm repair quote.

Does topping up coolant repair a leak?

No. Coolant loss needs its cause assessed. An overheating vehicle should be stopped safely and checked before further driving.
