Mobile safety certificate inspection

$130

+ $5 fuel levy incl GST per visit

$135 total incl GST

Inspection price includes GST. Any repairs or extra work are discussed and quoted separately before you approve them.

What is checked?

A Queensland safety certificate inspection checks basic vehicle safety, including tyres, brakes, steering, suspension, lights, the windscreen and body condition. A certificate can be issued when the vehicle meets the required inspection standards.

RWC or pre-purchase inspection?

A safety certificate checks roadworthiness at the time of inspection. It does not predict how long the engine, gearbox or other components will last. If you are buying a used vehicle and want a broader look at its mechanical condition, ask about our pre-purchase inspections.

Mobile RWC questions

How much is a mobile RWC?

The mobile safety certificate inspection is $130 plus a $5 fuel levy per visit, both including GST. That is $135 for the inspection visit. Repairs and any extra work are separate and need your approval.

Can you come to Morayfield or North Lakes?

Yes. We cover Brisbane North and Moreton Bay, including Morayfield, North Lakes, Caboolture, Narangba, Strathpine and surrounding suburbs. Share your exact location so we can confirm availability and travel before booking.

When might I need a Queensland safety certificate?

Common situations include transferring a registered vehicle to a new owner, transferring interstate registration to Queensland and re-registering an unregistered vehicle. Requirements and exemptions depend on the vehicle and transaction; check the Queensland Government guidance linked below.

What if my vehicle needs repairs?

We explain the inspection findings and discuss the next steps. Any repair work is quoted separately before it starts. Ask us to confirm any follow-up inspection requirements and costs for your vehicle.

For current requirements and exemptions, see Queensland Government safety certificate guidance.
